We warmly welcome everyone interested to join us for a splinter meeting at EGU in Vienna.
In this splinter session, we will present updates from the Tipping Points Modelling Intercomparison Project (TIPMIP) as well as outline the project’s forthcoming plan for 2026 and early 2027. Of particular focus will be discussions on initial results from recent experiments, newly-defined offline domain modeling protocols, and recently published papers and pre-prints. We likewise anticipate conversations around forthcoming outputs from TIPMIP, including those anticipated in advance of the IPCC AR7’s literature submission deadlines in 2027. All are welcome to join, from longtime friends to those curious or eager to get involved with the project.
